As stated during our phone conversation last week, it may be beneficial to delay the submittal of the response to
Division of Water Resources's additional information request until after our scoping meeting and onsite
determination has been completed. Upon preliminary review of the stream determination request provided by you
to this Office, several crossings along the proposed easement were not identified as streams subject to the Neuse or
Tar -Pamlico Riparian Buffer Rules. As discussed, determinations will need to be performed by this Office prior to
any final determination of buffer impacts and proposed buffer mitigation can be determined.
