Based on my approximate measurements, he has disturbed a total area —275'x350'. It appears the owner, Mr. Sherman Goodwin is in the process of obtaining a permit through Carteret Co. (Amy Guthrie) for a septic system to support a trailer park for up to 8 sites. We are assisting him to determine the extent of wetland fill, but in the meantime we wanted to give you a heads up. As you can see in the attached photo, there were no sedimentation and erosion control measures installed. The photo was taken form his store on HWY 12 facing west. Thanks and let me know if you need any further assistance.
