Dear Mr. MIlls;
Enclosed for your review and approval is a copy of the proposed
wetlands crossing at the Abington subdivision in Kernersville, N.C..
By using the proposed centerline elevation and taking into account
the following slopes: (4111' for paving, 111:1 for a 8' shoulder, and
2:1 side slopes) the area of fill in wetlands from centerline station
34 + 45 to centerline station 38 + 62 (which were the limits determined
by Dave Lekson from the Corps of Engineers) is 29,645 square feet.
As you will also notice on the enclosed plan is an existing fill
area which the grading contractor used for top soil stockpiling. This
area of fillis 10,310 square feet.
Both of thes areas come to a gross area 39955 square feet which is
under the maximum for permit 401. Therefore in conclusion I request
that this fill area be included in the general certification for
headwater areas.
If i can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to
contact me.
Sincerely,
Robert L. Cassadye
