Subject: Problem with Renewal COC NCG080819 - Please Resubmit Request
Good morning,
We have just realized that there was a server connection problem on Monday afternoon when you made this renewal
COC request. You probably saw that the COC attached to the email you received was not filled in with the permit or
facility information. Apparently there were network connection issues on Monday after the storm that affected our
website.
We sincerely apologize for the problem! Please go to the website below and resubmit a request for a renewal COC to
obtain a corrected copy. Please contact me if you have any questions or need assistance.

Subject: Renewal COC for NPDES Stormwater Permit No. NCG080819
Dear Permittee:
Please see the attached new Certificate of Coverage No. NCG080819 for renewed coverage under Stormwater General
Permit NCG080000 for this facility. This permit is reissued pursuant to the requirements of North Carolina General
Statute 143-215.1 and the Memorandum of Agreement between the state of North Carolina and the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency, dated October 15, 2007 (or as subsequently amended.)
You must print a copy of the new NCG080000 General Permit from our Stormwater General Permits web page. In
addition to the full permit, the 2018 print package on the website includes revised Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR)
forms and Qualitative Monitoring Report Forms.
The General Permit authorizes discharges of stormwater, and it specifies your obligations with respect to discharge
controls, management, monitoring, and record keeping. Please review the new permit to familiarize yourself with all
changes in the reissued permit. Your facility has six (6) months from receipt of the permit to update your Stormwater
Pollution Prevention Plan (SPPP) to reflect any new permit requirements.
When does electronic DMR (eDMR) reporting start, and does it affect this permit?
If activities at this facility ever require analytical monitoring, eDMR will affect you. We are setting up our database with
the outfalls that permittees submitted on-line and permit parameters. Permittees will receive notification when our
eDMR system is ready for permit -holders to register and begin reporting monitoring data electronically. If you have any
questions about the status, please contact Bethany Georgoulias at (919) 707-3641.
Your coverage under the General Permit is transferable only through the specific action of DEMLR. This permit does not
affect the legal requirements to obtain other permits which may be required by the N.C. Department of Environmental
Quality (DEQ), nor does it relieve the permittee from responsibility for compliance with any other applicable federal,
state, or local law, rule, standard, ordinance, order, judgment, or decree.
If you have any questions regarding this permit please contact The Stormwater Program at (919) 707-9220.
Sincerely,
The NC DEQ Stormwater Program
