The site is located on the south side of Lumley Road, east of the intersection of Lumley Road and Page Road just west of the Durham -Wake County line in Durham County. The proposed improvements include the construction of approximately 1,906 ft of new 8" gravity sewer main and the services for each lot that will discharge into an existing public gravity main on the west side of the site. Please find attached three full-size copies and one half-size set of plans for the project that show the proposed sewer extension. Also attached are a project narrative, the completed application form (FTA 04- 16), the completed Flow Tracking Acceptance Form (FTSE 04-16), maps of the site, and a $480 check. Roy ter, PE Project Engineer PROJECT NARRATIVE Lumley Road Townhomes September 25, 2018 The Lumley Road Townhome project involves the construction of a new residential development consisting of 93 townhomes and the associated public streets and infrastructure. The site is located on the south side of Lumley Road, east of its intersection with Page Rd within the City limits for the City of Durham in Durham County. Based on the 2T rules, the anticipated design sewage flow has been calculated to be 33,480 gallons/day (93 townhomes x 3 bedrooms x 120 gpd/bedroom). There is an existing public gravity main (owned and maintained by Durham County) on the west side of the site. The proposed improvements include the construction of approximately 1,906 ft of new 8" public gravity sewer main and the services for each lot. This analysis has been performed in accordance with local established policies and procedures using the best available data. Therefore: Given reasonably expected conditions and planning information, there is sufficient justification to allow this flow to be permitted, without a significant likelihood of over -allocating capacity in the system infrastructure. I understand that this does not relieve the collection system owner from complying with G.S. 143- 215.67(a) which prohibits the introduction of any waste in excess of the capacity of the waste disposal system.
