In this effort the owner’s representative was granted approval by the City of Asheville to utilize City of Asheville Low Impact Road Standards which allows for a smaller ROW and reduces the road width requirements. Both of which helps keep the homes closer to the road and prevents impacts to the stream and wetland areas on-site. Equipment to be used will include typical equipment needed for road construction such as excavator, motor grader, and roller. Since the site is relatively small for a residential development, smaller equipment sizes will be used to construct the roads, storm, and sewer infrastructure.
