Project Description:
U-5026 involves converting the existing SR 1770 (Sunset Avenue) grade separation with I-95
to an interchange; widening SR 1770 between SR 1603 (North Old Carriage Road) and SR
1544 (Halifax Road); and extending the existing collector-distributor along I-95 at US 64 to
the south of the proposed Sunset Avenue Interchange in Rocky Mount, Nash County.
