The Asheville Regional Office has reviewed Mr. McMinn’s response, on behalf of the Town of Columbus, to the Notice of
Violation-Intent to Issue Civil Penalty (NOV-2018-PC-0422). Based on the response and the documentation and duration
of the non-compliance, the Division will take no further action at this time with regards to this notice. We encourage the
Town of Columbus to continue to implement preventative measures and locate additional sources of inflow and
infiltration in an effort to maintain continued compliance with NPDES Permit No. NC0021369.
