The Asheville Regional Office has reviewed Mr. McMinn’s response, on behalf of the Town of Columbus, to the Notice of
Violation-Intent to Issue Civil Penalty (NOV-2018-PC-0420). Based on the response, documentation of the event and
circumstances surrounding the reported violation, the Division will take no further action at this time with regards to
this notice. We encourage the Town of Columbus to continue to implement preventative measures and corrective action
in an effort to maintain continued compliance with NPDES Permit No. NC0021369.
