Dear Mr. Reeves:
On May 18, 2018, the Division of Water Resources (Division) received your application dated May
18, 2018 (with fee received May 21, 2018), requesting a 401 Water Quality Certification from the
Division for the subject project. On June 28, 2018 the Division sent a letter requesting more
information about the project. In an email dated November 27, 2018 following up on the request for
more information, the consultant notified the Division that the City wished to withdraw the
application. Therefore, your file is hereby considered withdrawn.
Please be aware that you have no authorization under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act for this
activity and any work done within waters of the state may be a violation of North Carolina General
Statutes and Administrative Code.
