DWQ Project # 08-1568
Dear Kyle,
T am sending you a supplemental plan sheet in response to
item 2 of your letter dated April 24, 2009 concerning the
above subject project. Also included is a revised page 11
of 12 of the PCN Application which has been amended to
reflect impacts to the Riparian Buffers relative to a
proposed stream crossing. We plan to make all slopes no
steeper than 4 : 1 and do not propose any stone rip-rap
within the Riparian buffers. This should satisfy item one
of your April- 24 Letter.
We have discussed the stream determinations (item 3) and I
believe that this one crossing is the only crossing that
involves any Riparian Buffers. The other two crossings
involve Ephemeral Streams.
In regard to item 4, T have provided information on the
supplemental plan sheet that provides the specific details
4 CroSS
of the stream impact for the 'Perennial Stream _ng.
... . ....... .... ........................- ---------------
f.
l have also include pages 5&6 of 10 pages which comprises a
portion of DWQ' s Red Book rules which appears to deem: this
crossing "ALLOWABLE WITHOUT MITIGATION" Therefore we do
not propose any mitigation of buffer impacts as a result of
this project .
Kyle; I need to get this project under construction. any
consideration you can give us towards mewing this
application forward would be most helpful .
