This was problematic and would likely result in failure because the adjacent property slopes would be impossible to tie the graded slope in and maintain a smooth transition that could withstand the flood flows of the Watauga River. Additionally, we believe that the graded and vegetated slope would have a high likelihood of failure even if the adjacent property could be utilized to tie the slopes together.
