An imperious sandbag dike will be constructed upstream of the existing pipe to create a srnall pool. Cleaxx water will temporarily be puznped around the construction area and will be discharged dowzlstream. Any dirty water located inside of the construction area will be pumped into a silt bag if necessary. Qnce the new pipe is in piace, the iznperious dike will be removed and preconstruction streambed eleations will be restored. Due ta the low flow nature at the remaining wet pipe locations, the remaining construction areas will be dried by dropping sand bags in the ditch line. f flow starts to oertop the bags we can turn on the pump briefly. The stream crassings all carry different UTs to Roa-ing Branch (Class: C; RV. This project was reviewed for the presnce of threatened and endan.gered species on February 2G, 2014. This project will hae no effect on any federaly listed endangered plant vr animal species. Historic compiiance work has heen completed and no surveys were required. The project impacts are nat significant in nature and should not remoe ar degrade existing water quality uses. Stormwater will be routed thraugh grass or rock Iined ditches, depending on the ditch line slope. Pipe sizes used will ke the minimum necessary to create a safe roadway. Wet pipes exceeding 6% grade will not be buried. By utilizing the erosivn control measures outlined in the attachments to this application, downstream water quality standards will be protected. erall water quality in the area will be innproed by paing the ASC traeI lanes. AIl apprapriate BMPs will be used during constructzon. Attached is a Preconstruction Ntificatian Form, plan saeets with proposed erosion control measures, a marked county map and a marked topography map.
