Neville Farms Phase II Bank Parcel Credit Release — Task 5 (partial)
Dear Mr. Hermann:
On October 19, 2018, the Division of Water Resources (DWR) received a Year 2 Monitoring Report
from Watershed Investments NC, LLC (WINC) for Phase I and Phase II of the Neville Farms
Mitigation Site. Vegetative plot data confirms that success criteria throughout both Phase 1 and
Phase II is greater than the required 260 stems/acre. On November 15, 2018, in response to
information requested by Ms. Merritt as part of her review of the report, WINC submitted height data
for all vegetative plots and confirmed that no encroachment within the easement boundaries had
occurred.
On January 11, 2018, DWR received a continuation certificate for performance bond
(#CE00155800021) issued to WINC to cover monitoring and maintenance at the subject site. The
term of this bond applies through February 21, 2019. Therefore, WINC is required to renew the
bond to cover the monitoring and maintenance requirements for Fall 2019. When DWR has received
confirmation of renewal of the subject bond for another year, the remainder 5% of this credit release
will be issued.
According to the MBI signed on January 7, 2016, the following Project Milestones for Phase II have
been partially met, and the corresponding credits shall be released:
