Strickland, Bev From: Mitchell, Robert K Sent: Friday, November 16, 2018 12:58 PM To: Lane, Ervin Cc: Homewood, Sue Subject: Spoils Sampling Cashiers Lake Dredging - Jackson County Attachments: Impact Map.pdf Ervine, Hope you are doing well. Just wanted to follow up on my phone message. We are reviewing an individual permit for a lake/wetland dredging permit in Cashiers, NC (Coordinates for the sight are 35.109464, -83.100021). They are proposing to dredge — 36,500 cubic yards of material some of which will be used for bulkheads on the same lake. The Corps is requiring the consultant to sample the material and provide the results to our Division. The consultant is Mike Faulkner with Headwaters Environmental. He will be sending us an email of what they are proposing to sample for and I wanted to loop you in on it to make sure they meet your requirements as well. Thanks for your help. Let me know if you have any questions.
