Axiom has conducted a potential wetland/stream delineation in the vicinity of the station, and we have been requested to obtain agency verification of our delineation. We identified one stream that we believe to be perennial. The identified stream is an approximately 182-foot long reach in a field of kudzu between two culverts (see attached photos). There was nothing living in the stream. The upstream culvert appears to be collecting water from under downtown Salisbury and flows through "catacombs" beneath the station. These are the first catacombs I have encountered professionally. The downstream culvert extends approximately 500 feet before daylighting into an urban landscape.
