The new 3-span bridge will be 246 feet long, with a deck width of 70 feet Standard roadbuilding equipment will be used. Water and sev�,�r mains for the City of Washington need to be relocated, as v�ll as a sev�,�r main for the Town of Chocowinity. These will be installed using directional bore to reduce impacts, but will still require excavation and fill in wetlands.
