Applicant: Marc Basnight
Project Location: adj. to Shallowbag Bay at 381 Mother Vineyard Rd., in Manteo
Proposed Project: The applicant is requesting a Minor Modification to Major Permit # 5-07 to
place riprap along approximately 280 feet of shoreline. The proposed riprap
will have an 8-foot base with no more than 5 feet of the base to be located
waterward of NWL and the remainder to be landward of NWL. The
proposed riprap will have a height above NWL of approximately 4 feet.

The project modification as proposed is covered by the Division of Water Quality's General Certification #3641. This
project does not require written concurrence as long as all of the conditions of the certification are adhered to. Please
direct Mr. Basnight and his contractors to this web site to download a copy of that certification.
