Subject: B-4926 Deck Drains
Garcy,
We just had a meeting in regards to B-4926 (Replacement of Bridge 20 and 34 on NC 55 over Neuse River in Lenoir Co.). The
consultant asked if we could clarification on if deck drains would be allowed for the overflow bridge on this project? He said if
we could have deck drains on this bridge it would reduce the spread on the bridge which would reduce the bridge width (bridge
width is 39' with deck drains). Let me know if you have any additional questions before you answer.
