I writing to request a two-week extension for submittal of our updated SWMP. We have completed the self-assessment/MS6I modules internally. We are also conducting a third-party program review. This will not be complete until the week of the 12th. Both of these things are going to generate changes to our processes, our SWMP, and most likely, our ordinance(s) as well. I would like to have this incorporated into what we submit to the State for this year. I had planned to have it completed by 10/31, but it took me longer than anticipated to get the contract for the program review approved. That mass mailing had two immediate results; (1) there were an overwhelming number of e-mails returned as undeliverable, and (2) a lot of great questions were generated. We have since updated the contact list, and want to be sure that the MS4s are clear on the changes to annual reporting this year. An electronic SWMPA for fiscal year 2017-2018 is required to be submitted by October 31, 2018. An FAQ is attached to this e-mail regarding this change. If you have questions or need technical assistance, my contact information is below and also in the FAQ.
