I have attached a picture and a video taken this morning. There are excavators in the general area of the UT, creating significant turbidity. Our project staff did not go onto the adjacent PNG site to see the source. The turbidity is then feeding into Lowry Mill Creek. The picture and video (sorry for the poor quality) shows where the turbid UT feeds into Lowry Mill Creek. We will note the turbidity in our projects NPDES records, but wanted to report to you so you know it is not coming from the DOT project. Thanks. They were concerned that the wetland has sediment that they think may be from the adjacent DOT job. They want to be sure they aren't held accountable. Seth with DEMLR is going out Wednesday to inspect their project and will look at the wetland per their request but I told them I'd forward the info to you also. I'm copying Amy also.
