Stormwater Permit No. SW1180901
Pond View Apartments — Hildebran, NC
Burke County
Dear Mr. Wade:
The Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources (DEMLR), received a Stormwater
Management Permit Application for the subject project on September 17, 2018. A review of that
information has determined that the application is not complete. The following information is
needed to continue the stormwater review:
On Sheet C-6 under Soil Testing Specifications note 3, please revise the note to say that
the drawdown rate of the soil media should fall between 1 and 6 inches per hour. The
minimum drawdown under Bioretention MDC 9 is 1 inch per hour.
2. The maintenance access must be at a maximum slope of 3:1. As proposed the slope is
2.5:1.
3. On the western side of the parking lot there is an area that will likely have standing water
due to the grading. Please add a catch basin next to C 1 to ensure stormwater will drain
properly.
4. Provide pdfs of all revisions, 2 hardcopies of revised plan sheets, and 1 hardcopy of other
documents. Pdfs must be uploaded using the form at:
