Failure to Properly Implement the Long Term Monitoring Plan (LTMP)
Program: City of Brevard;Transylvania County; NPDES#: NC0060534
Dear Mr. Fatland,
During the Headworks Analysis review, it was revealed that the City failed to perform all sampling
required by the Division approved LTMP. Specifically, the City did not sample the metals at the
SIU during the year of 2017. Please sample the metals as listed in your approved LTMP at the SIU
before December 31, 2018 and submit the data to the PERCS unit. The City is also reminded to
sample all SIU(s) for all LTMP Pollutants of Concern at least once per year.
