COMMENTS RECEIVED
Received on August 3,2018,a letter from NC Land Lease LLC,requesting several changes to the permit.
They note the Outfall 001 location to be adjusted, which was done in the technical correction issued on
July 26,2018. UV disinfection is planned, so asking for TRC to be removed from the monitoring system
following completion of the new system. Ask to add a new weekly monitoring condition requiring a
verification of the UV lamp indicator port(indicating operation). Asked Daily monitoring be changed to
weekly. Asking for BODS,TSS,NH3-N,and Fecal Coliform to be reduced to Monthly. Permittee states
they are willing to add weekly Turbidity monitoring. The reason for request as stated is to reduce
financial burden on the system operation.
DWR Response to Permittees'requests: Stated in Draft Cover Letter dated August 15,2018.
TRC: Added to the TRC footnote,"TRC: Limit and monitoring requirements only apply if the facility
adds chlorine or chlorine derivatives to water that is eventually discharged."
