Dear Mr. Smithwick:
The Division received Contentnea Metropolitan Sewage District's request for a permit
monitoring reduction for BOD, TSS, NH3-N and Fecal Coliform to two times per week under
the "exceptionally performing facilities" criteria of the guidance document. Presently, we are
no longer processing these requests as a permit modification. We will consider a reduction in
monitoring at the next permit renewal.
