The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of the Southwinds Condos WWTF
on 8/13/2018. This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the
conditions and limitations specified in Non -discharge Permit No. WQ0018992. The findings and comments
noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report entitled "Compliance
Inspection Report".
There were no significant issues or findings noted during the inspection and therefore, response to this
inspection report is not required.

Inspection Summary:
A facility compliance inspection was performed on August 13, 2018 by Morella Sanchez King. The Division of Water
Resources/Water Quality Regional Operations Section appreciate Mr. Stanley Buck for his assistance during the
inspection.
The facility was found compliant with the conditions of the permit.
Alarms were functional and effluent was clear and odorless. Refer to each section of the report for additional comments.

Comment: Since the last insDection. the facilitv had sporadic exceedances in the fecal coliform counts. In
August 2017, it exceeded the daily maximum once (145 colonies/ 100ml) and in September
2017, it reached the monthly geometric mean for fecal coliform counts (14 colonies/ 100 ml).
No fecal coliform exceedances have been reported in 2018. The disinfection process seems
adequate.
