The Wilmington Regional Office received a letter from your agent requesting fill for 434 square
feet of isolated wetland (as indicated by the Jurisdictional Determination map signed by Mickey Sugg).
These impacts are covered under Permit Number IWGP 100000 (enclosed) and are deemed permited as
long as you can meet the conditions outlined in 15A NCAC 0211.1305(b) (enclosed).
If at anytime during construction of your project you determine that you cannot meet these
conditions or if there are any additional impacts to wetlands or water quality not described in your
letter, you must contact this office immediately.

this property inspected to determine the extent of Department of the Army (DA) jurisdiction. To be considered final, a
jurisdictional determination must be verified by the Corps. This preliminary determination is not an appealable action
under the Regulatory Program Administrative Appeal Process ( Reference 33 CPR Part 331).
B. Approved Determination
_ There are Navigable Waters of the United States within the above described property subject to the permit requirements of
Section 10 of the Rivers and I larbors Act and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act; and are located waterward of the
existing bulkhead. Unless there is a change in the law or our published regulations, this determination may be relied upon
for a period not to exceed five years from the date of this notification.
X There are waters and wetlands on the above described property subject to the permit requirements of Section 404 of the
Clean Water Act (CVVA)(33 USC $ 1344) and Section 10 navigable waters of the Rivers and Harbors Act Unless there is

We strongly suggest you have the wetlands on your property delineated. Due to the size of your property and/or our
present workload, the Corps may not be able to accomplish this wetland delineation in a timely matmer. For a more timely
delineation, you may wish to obtain a consultant. To be considered final, any delineation must be verified by the Corps.
The wetland on your property have been delineated and the delineation has been verified by the Corps. We strongly
suggest you have this delineation surveyed. Upon completion, this survey should be reviewed and verified by the Corps.
Once verified, this survey will provide an accurate depiction of all areas subject to CWA jurisdiction on your property

Last week I told you I needed a project #
Here is the project stuff you needed....
There is no REAL application... just a letter with a plat of a subdivision
superimposed over a COE signed JD map. The map shows an isolated wetland that will
be filled (434 sq ft). They just want a letter for their files and I can write a,
what we call a GC Letter, it is just a letter that says you don't need a permit from
us and here are the conditions you need to follow. I don't have to have a # if you
don't feel comfortable with it...but I thought it would be good to get it in our data
banks. I will send you a copy of the letter and all the info I got. Just let me know
how you want to handle this. Thanks!
