Credit Release— Task 5 partial
Dear Mr. Hutton:
On September 18, 2018, the Division of Water Resources (DWR) received a Year 2 Monitoring
Report from Wildlands Engineering, Inc on behalf of Wildlands Holdings V, LLC (WHV), for the
subject site. Overall, site conditions appear to look good and vegetation data results show stem
densities higher than the required 260 stems/acre throughout most of the site. Additionally, no
concerns with invasive species or encroachment within the easement boundary were noted.
On November 17, 2017, DWR received a continuation certificate and bond rider for performance
bond (#106608502) issued to WHII to cover monitoring and maintenance at the subject site. The
amount of the bond is $80,000 and expires on November 30, 2018. On March 22, 2018, DWR
received a bond rider for the subject bond issued to Wildlands Holdings V, LLC. When DWR has
received confirmation of renewal of the subject bond for another year, the remainder 5% of this
credit release will be issued.
In accordance with the MBI, signed on October 24, 2016, the following Project Milestones have
been partially met, and the corresponding credits shall be released:

By copy of this correspondence, DWR confirms that you have fully satisfied the above requirements
for the above -referenced tract and 5% of your Neuse riparian buffer credits (0.05 x 605,484 ftZ =
30,274.2 ftZ) are now available for sale. Additionally, 5% of your Nitrogen nutrient offset credits

(0.05 x 41,619 Ib -N = 2,080.95 Ib -N) and 5% of your Phosphorous nutrient offset credits (0.05 x
2,680.58 Ib -P =134.03 Ib -P) are now available to sell.
Please note that nutrient offset credits generated at this site must be used for impacts in HUC
03020201 of the Upper and Lower Falls Watersheds as defined in 15A NCAC 02B.0276 within the
Neuse River Basin. Additionally, the riparian buffer credits must be used for impacts in the Neuse
River Basin according to guidelines in the Consolidated Buffer Mitigation Rule, 15A NCAC 02B
.0295, which became effective on November 1, 2015.
