Dear Scoping Participant:
The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) Division 9 is beginning the
process of environmental and engineering studies for the STIP Project U-6079 in Forsyth
County. We are now requesting any information you have that would be helpful in the
evaluation of potential environmental impacts or if you are aware of conditions in the
project vicinity that should be considered in project planning. If applicable, please
identify any permits or approvals that might be required by your department.
The Internal Scoping Meeting was held on January 26, 2018. At present, there are no
plans to hold a formal external project scoping meeting. Please review the attached
documents and let us know if you have any comments or concerns.
Please provide your comments by October 12, 2018, or as soon as possible after that
date, so that your comments can be used in the preparation of this document.
