Dear Mr. Coyle:
Subject: Application No, WQ0038087
Additional Information Request
Terra Renewal RLAP
Residuals Management System
Wilkes County
Division of Water Resources' Central and Regional staff has reviewed the application package received
October 14, 2015. However, additional information is required before the review may be completed.
Under the requirements of 15A NCAC 02T .1108(b)(2), the following features require buffers as shown in
Table 1 below. The features in the fields listed below were not shown on the buffer maps and must be
shown, thus requiring additional buffering. This will require revised buffer maps to be submitted and
recalculation of the acreages. These revised acreages for the fields should be submitted on new Land
Application Site Certification (LASC) forms. Both the revised buffer leaps and LASC forms shall be
submitted no later than the close of business on January 21, 2016.
Following are the fields and the problems found:
1. Site CH-1 and CH-4: There is a well between sites CH-1 and CH-4 that is not shown on the buffer
map.
2. Site CH-3: There is a ditch in the northeastern quadrant that is not shown on the buffer map.
3. Site DM-7 and DM-8: There is an access road splitting the two sites that is ditched and eroded.
4. Site DM-8: There is a stream inside the wood line adjacent to the site that is not shown on the buffer
map.
5, Site ED-4: There is a drainage ditch near the middle of the field that is not shown on the buffer map.
6. Site MF-13 and MF-14: There is a drainage ditch running along the border of the two fields that is not
shown on the buffer map.
