Anthony,
Yes, the wet pond is designed in compliance with the NC SCM Manual which stipulates the
wet -pond has a removal credit of 30%. It also appears that they slightly oversized the pond
based on the 1 year and 10 year storms which should allow for additional removal above the
minimum standard.

My apologies for being unfamiliar with the Town of Winterville's Design Manual. Specifically, will the
wet pond meet the total nitrogen reduction of 30 percent to satisfy the Neuse Riparian Buffer Rules?
Thanks,

Anthony,
Thank you for returning my call earlier today. As mentioned, Bobby Billingsley with
Thomas Engineering has supplied The Wooten Company (Winterville's Consulting
Engineer) copies of the plans and supporting calculations for their design of the Villa
Grande Phase II subdivision in Winterville, NC.
As presented, the design for the proposed wet pond meets or surpasses the minimum
requirements set forth in the Town of Winterville Design Manual.
If we can be of any further assistance, please let us know.
