The Pretreatment staff of the Division of Water Resources at the Winston-Salem Regional Office
has reviewed the Pretreatment Annual Report (PAR) covering January through December 2017.
Our review indicates that the PAR is adequate and satisfies the requirements of 15A NCAC
2H .908(b) and the Comprehensive Guidance for North Carolina Pretreatment Programs, with
the following note: item 14 of the Pretreatment Performance Summary indicated that two
significant industrial users were included in a public notice, but no users were in significant
noncompliance. Please note that this item is meant to include industries that were published in a
public notice as required in Part IV, Section D.11 of the NPDES Permit and 40 CFR
403.8(f)(2)(viii).
