The Division has been notified that the Carolina Shores Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Sea Trail Wastewater Treatment Plant residuals are being hauled, combined and tested with the West Brunswick Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant residuals. The tonnage from the Carolina Shores Wastewater Treatment Plant is 30 dry tons per year and the tonnage from the Sea Trail Wastewater Treatment Plant is 20 dry tons per year, and are included in the West Brunswick facility's currently -permitted limit of 200 dry tons per year. The monitoring frequencies for permit conditions TV.3. and IVA. for the West Brunswick Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Northeast Brunswick Regional Wastewater Treatment plant have been changed to allow the use of the table in attachment A to determine the monitoring frequency for each source. The Permittee is responsible for managing the program to assure that adequate sampling is performed. On August 5, 2009, Session Law 2009-406, entitled "An Act to Extend Certain Government Approvals Affecting the Development of Real Property Within the State," was enacted by the General Assembly and signed into law. The Act, known as the Permit Extension Act of 2009, extends the expiration date of certain government approvals and permits. On August 2, 2010, this Act was extended an additional year. The subject permit falls within the scope of this Act and is therefore being extended to January 31, 2016. Please replace the existing Attachment A of Permit No. WQ0034468 that was previously certified on August 20, 2010, with this corrected Attachment A. It is the Pennittee's responsibility to ensure that a complete permit is created by inserting this modified Attachment A into Permit No. WQ0034468, issued on February 8, 2010. As always, remember to take the time to review this modified Attachment A thoroughly, as some of the conditions contained therein: may have been changed since the last certification. Note that this modified Attachment A is hereby incorporated by reference into Permit No. WQ0034468, issued on February 8, 2010. If any parts, requirements, and/or limitations contained in this certification or modified Attachment A are unacceptable, you have the right to request an adjudicatory hearing upon written request within 30 days following receipt of the certification. This request shall be in the form of a written petition, conforming to Chapter 150B of the North Carolina General Statutes and filed with the Office of Administrative Hearings at 6714 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, North Carolina 27699-6714.
