This certification is being issued to approve two new contributing residuals sources, which are the Carolina Shores Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Sea Trail Wastewater Treatment Plant, which will be added to the residuals at the West Brunswick Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant with no increase to the West Brunswick facility's currently -permitted limit of 200 dry tons per year. The tonnage from the Carolina Shores Wastewater Treatment Plant is 30 dry tons per year and the tonnage from the Sea Trail Wastewater Treatment Plant is 20 dry tons per year. On August 5, 2009, Session Law 2009-406, entitled "An Act to Extend Certain Government Approvals Affecting the Development of Real Property Within the State," was enacted by the General Assembly and signed into law. The Act, known as the Permit Extension Act of 2009, extends the expiration date of certain government approvals and permits. On August 2, 2010, this Act was extended an additional year. The subject permit falls within the scope of this Act and is therefore being extended to January 31, 2016. Please replace the existing Attachment A of Permit No. WQ0034468 that was previously certified on February 8, 2010, with this modified Attachment A. It is the Permittee's responsibility to ensure that a complete permit is created by inserting this modified Attachment A into Permit No. WQ0034468, issued on February 8, 2010. This modified Attachment A shall be effective from the date of certification; shall void Attachment A of Permit No. WQ0034468 that was previously (most recently) certified on February 8, 2010; and shall be subject to the conditions and limitations as specified therein and well as those specified in the above -referenced permit. "The contributions from Carolina Shores WWTP and Sea Trail WWTP will be combined with the residuals at the West Brunswick Regional WWTP and thus included in the maximum permitted capacity of 200 dry tons per year of the West Brunswick Regional WWTP. Therefore, the total combined capacity of these three source facilities shall not exceed 200 dry tons per year.
