Reference is made to your written rescission request received June 13, 2012 for the subject Single
Family Residential Wastewater Treatment System permit. Aquifer Protection Section staff from the
Raleigh Regional Office have confirmed that the subject permit is no longer required. Therefore, in
accordance with your request, Permit No. WQ0034399 is rescinded, effective immediately.
We have received a permit application package from Agri -Waste Technology, Inc. for a new
system layout for this property and have begun the review process. Please be advised that construction
and/or operation of the subject facilities without a valid permit is a violation of North Carolina General
Statute §143-215.1 and may subject the owner/operator to appropriate enforcement actions in accordance
with North Carolina General Statute §143-215.6A-6C. Civil penalties of up to $25,000 per day per
violation may be assessed for failure to secure a permit required by North Carolina General Statute § 143-
215.1.
