Applicant would prefer to maintain as much of the natural vegetation as possible. Plans are to
limit the number of trees impacted currently to only ones directly impacted by severe under-cut
bank erosion. Current estimates are that approximately 10 trees of less than 6 inch diameter, and
1 tree (dead) of 12 inch diameter. Additional vegetation impact will be limited to underbrush,
laurel, and ferns in approximately 500 sq. ft. All remaining impact will be on the shoreline bank
that has previously collapsed due to uader~cut erosion. Applicant plans to replant with native
species per lluke Power request on all bare surfaces to control runoff.
