List the total estimated linear feet of all existing streams (intermittent and perennial) on the property: Approximately 200 LF of a perennial stream clips the NE corner of the site. Another perennial stream enters the eastern property line and flows along the eastern property line for approximately 1,300 and exits the northern property line. An intermittent stream starts on the property and flows east for approximately 320 LF. 3e. Explain the purpose of the proposed project: The purpose of the proposed project is to construct a residential subdivision and associated utilities to meet the demand in this part of Wake County. 3f. Describe the overall project in detail, including the type of equipment to be used: The overall project consists of a 160-lot townhome residential subdivision. Proposed residential streets will connect to the existing East Garner Road. Stormwater Control Measures proposed for the site include three stormwater BMP devices_ Two of these will require discharge through the riparian buffers. Utilities for the proposed project will connect to existing utility lines adjacent to the proposed project boundaries_ Heavy equipment t icall used for utility installation projects (e,g. back hoes, bull-dozers, etc will be utilized. 4. Impacts to jurisdictional features on the property have been avoided. Buffer impacts on the project will result from the discharge of stormwater exiting two of the three BMP devices. The outlet pipe length and associated rip -rap high flow bypass channels have been designed to minimize buffer impact to the extent practicable. The stormwater BMPs will discharge the runoff in a manner that minimizes hydrologic impacts to the receiving buffer. 1 b. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques. General techniques include the use of construction fencing to define the construction corridor and prevent any accidental additional impacts. Silt fencing and temporary basins will also be used to prevent sediment runoff into the streams and riparian buffers. FORM: BA 10-2013 Page 3 of 5 2.
