Subject: Permit No. WQ0024577
Sutton's Rest Home
Wastewater Irrigation System
Wayne County
Dear Mr. and Ms. Sutton:
In accordance with your permit renewal request received July 5, 2013, we are forwarding
herewith Permit No. WQ0024577 dated February 1, 2014, to Gary C. and Margaret B. Sutton for the
continued operation of the subject wastewater treatment and irrigation facilities. Please note that this
renewed permit shall become effective on February 1, 2014 (i.e. the day after the expiration date of the
existing permit), which may differ from the issuance date of this letter.
This permit shall be effective from February 1, 2014 until January 31, 2019, shall void Permit No.
WQ0024577 issued February 1, 2005, and shall be subject to the conditions and limitations as specified
therein. Please pay particular attention to the monitoring requirements listed in Attachments A, B and C
for they may differ from the previous permit issuance. Failure to establish an adequate system for
collecting and maintaining the required operational information shall result in future compliance
problems.
For your convenience, customized electronic copies of your facility's NDMR and NDAR-1
reporting forms are available for download at: littp:/lportal.nedenr.oreJweb/wglaps/lau/reporting.
Please note the following permit conditions have been removed since the last permit
issuance dated February 1, 2005:
➢ Old Conditions I.1. to 1.6. — These conditions have been removed because the facility has
been constructed and a final engineering certification was received September 2, 2005.
➢ Old Condition I.8. — This condition has been removed because it is inherently covered under
new Condition 11.7., which requires that only effluent from Sutton's Rest Home be irrigated.
➢ Old Condition 11.4. — This condition has been removed because it is covered under new
Condition 11I.3., which requires that the Permittee maintain a suitable year round vegetative
cover, such that crop health is optimized, allows for even distribution of effluent and allows
inspection of the irrigation system -
