This letter is in response to a request by Gary MacConnell, P.E., via email and phone call,
received by the Division March 21, 2005. It has been conveyed to the Division that a portion of
the area set aside for drip irrigation in connection with Permit No. WQ0023882 issued to Roland
Cargill, dated October- 29, 2004 is no longer an option for drip irrigation as there is now a
driveway covering said portion of the original permitted drip field.
In regards to a change in the drip field location linked to Pcrmit No. WQ0023882, the
Division offers the following:
The Division will accept a change to the permitted location of the drip field through
submittal of the As Built Plans in lieu of an application to modify the subject permit provided
that the area in which the field is being moved is included in Karl Shaffer's previously submitted
Soils Report dated February 27, 2004.
Please note condition I.14 of Permit No. WQ0023882 dated October 29, 2004, which
reads, "Subdivision of this property shall not occur prior to approval by the Division."
