Smith Garden Products Distribution Program
Distribution of Animal Residual Solids
Cumming, Georgia
Dear Mr. Walraven:
Per a request made by Smith Garden Products, Inc. to Mr. Daryl Merritt of the Division of Water Quality's
(Division) Non -Discharge Compliance/Enforcement Unit, we are forwarding herewith a corrected Page 3 of Permit
No. WQ0018085, issued on October 18, 2000, for the subject animal residuals distribution program.
The following correction has been made to the permit:
The word "every" was mistakenly omitted from the frequency with which the product containing
animal residuals must be monitored for pathogen reduction as stated in Condition II. 4. Note that the
monitoring frequency to demonstrate compliance with the stipulated pathogen reduction requirement is
every 60 calendar days from the date of the permit's issuance. We apologize for any confusion that
this oversight might have caused.
Please replace Page 3 with this corrected Page 3 into Permit No. WQ0018085, issued on October 18,
2000.
If you need any additional information concerning this matter, please contact Ms. Shannon Mohr
Thornburg via telephone at (919) 733-5083, extension 353, or through e-mail atshat on.thornburg@ncmail.net.
