In accordance with a telephone response received from Ms. Karen Brashear. Public Utilities Director
on March 24, 2011. we are forwarding herewith a corrected Attachment A for Permit No. WQ0017791.
issued January 21, 2011. to the City of Goldsboro for the subject wastewater treatment and conjunctive
reclaimed water distribution utilization program.
The followinu corrections have been made to the Attachment A:
The PCS code has been chanced from 620 for Nitrate Total Nitrogen to 630 for Nitrite plus
Nitrate.
• The Monitoring Frequency for Nitrite plus Nitrate has been changed from five times a week
to once per week to match the requirements of your NPDES permit NC0023949.
Please replace Attachment A with the corrected Attachment A (certified March 10, 2011)
into Permit #WQ0017791.

Monthly averages for all but fecal coliform shall be the arithmetic mean of all samples collected during the reporting period.
h Up to 495,500 gallons per day may be distributed from the Goldsboro Water Reclamation Facility for use on the spray irrigation site known as "tile Farm". Additional reclaimed
water may be distributed into the reclaimed water distribution and storage facilities; however, any volume over not able to be irrigated shall be discharged in strict accordance
with the most recent issuance of NPDES Permit No. NC0023949, which includes the option to discharge any excess reclaimed water to the constructed wetlands treatment system
approved for construction in Authorization to Construct No. 023949ACA, issued by the Division on June 29, 2001. Furthermore, note tliat this permit is a conjunctive permit and,
as such, shall not change the hydraulic capacity of the Goldsboro Reclaimed Water Facility as permitted in the most recent issuance of NPDES Permit No. NC0023949.
Daily maximum shall be the maximum value of all samples collected during the reporting period.
dThere shall be no average monthly limit for irrigation at the Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course, however the annual irrigation amount shall not exceed 30 million gallons.
`Tile effluent pH shall not be less than 6.0 standard units nor greater than 9.0 standard units.
`Reported daily maximum for turbidity shall be the maximum daily reading of turbidity for days in which reclaimed water is distributed.
F Samples collected for the NPDES Permit No. NCO023949 can be used to fulfill the monitoring requirement for this permit. The monitoring frequencies for the above mentioned
parameters match those required in the NPDES permit.
