Project nsmpwry The applicant proposes to construct two 36 foot long by 6 foot wide docks on either side of an existing boat ramp which is used by the subdivision for boating access. V KITTY HAWK LANDING ASSOCIATION, INC. FAST TRACK BIO REPORT . PAGE 2 SITE DESCRIPTION The applicants own a lot in Kitty Hawk Landing which is used for the subdivision's boating access. The virtually unimproved lot does have a boat ramp which extends into Avery's Pond which.is off of Currituck Sound. The applicants are requesting two 36 foot long by 6 foot wide docks which will run parallel to the boat ramp: These docks will aid in the loading and unloading of recreational boats ANTICIPATED IMPACTS The proposed pier will not create a hindrance to navigation in the canal system and will aid in the use of the boat ramp. Construction of the pier will create some elevated turbidity levels but they will be short term and localized. CAMA REVIEW The proposed project is consistent with the transition classification in the Kitty Hawk LUP. Submitted by: George H.
