Per your request on July 7, 2010, the Division of Water Quality is rescinding the subject non -
discharge treatment system permit. In accordance with NC State Administrative Code 15A NCAC 02T,
effective September 1, 2006, the treatment system at Jacksonville Truck Wash Facility meets the
requirements of Section .0203(a)(2) for systems to be deemed permitted. The 4,000 gallons per month of
treated wastewater from truck wash to be sent to the City of Jacksonville's WWTP headwork or influent
pump station in accordance with the sewer service agreement between the City of Jacksonville and Waste
Management of the Carolinas — Jacksonville, is not required to apply for future permit renewals or
modifications provided that the facility continues to comply with the requirements of 15A NCAC 02T
.0203(a)(2) and the followings:
a) The truck wash facility shall be connected to the treatment system as described in the permit
number WQ0013772,
b) Waste Management of the Carolinas -- Jacksonville shall collect separated oil within the
treatment system's product tank and dispose of the separated oil via a licensed waste oil
contractor, and
c) All records for disposal of separated wash water to the City's WWTP and the pick-up of
separated oil by a licensed contractor shall be maintained for a minimum of three years.
