Reference is made to your request for rescission of the subject Groundwater Remediation, Non -discharge
Permit. Staff from the Mooresville Regional Office has concluded that this Permit is still required. Therefore,
your request, to rescind the Groundwater Remediation, Non -discharge Permit, Permit No. WQ0011472 is
denied.
Operating a wastewater facility without a valid Groundwater Remediation, Non -discharge Permit will subject
the responsible party to a civil penalty of up to $10,000 per day.
