The company plans to collect the steam cleaning/rinse water and place the water on haul roads. The Region has been made aware that the brick making association may be provided with a general permit which will cover stormwater issues. The only reservation that the Region has is a concern that used motor oils and other automotive products may be exposed and possibly be released. Since the company and the Division have discussed the above options, the Region agrees that the Permit can be voided as requested by Boren Clay. The company is still required to apply for and provide requirements for an NPDES Permit for the unpermitted discharge of the existing sandfilter. CC: WSRO Central Files a:\bornclay.vd
