Reference is made to your request for rescission of the subject State Permit. Staff of `
the Wilmington Regional Office have confirmed that this Pump & Haul Permit is no t,
longer required. Therefore, in accordance with your request, State Permit No.
WQ0010970 is rescinded, effective mediately.
If in the future you wish to again pump & haul wastewater under your own permit,
you must first apply for and receive anew State Permit. Operating without a valid State -
Permit will subject the facility to a civil penalty of up to $10,000 per day.
If it would be helpful to discuss this matter further, I would suggest that you contact
Ken Eagleson, Water Quality Regional Supervisor, Wilmington Regional Office at
910/395-3900.

Vision Software
Dear Mr. Beck:
Please find the pump and haul information as required by the referenced permit.
We have pumped the system six (6) times since October 9, 1996, hauling
approximately 20500 gallons of domestic wastewater from the collection system at
Vision Software to the North Chase WWTP. The system was put into operation
November 12, 1995, therefore the pump and haul method will no longer be necessary.
Waste Management, Incorporated hauled each time at the District's request and
discharged under staffs supervision. County staff inspected the sewage level at the
Vision collection system daily.
Over the past 30 days, the District's staff and contractors worked on completing
the plant. The plant is now in operation.

collection system and discharged into the North Chase system on these dates:
