Dear Mr. Flowe:
The Division has received your letter dated April 22, 1996, and acknowledges your subsequent
phone conversation with Mr. Ray Cox, of the Division's State Engineering Review Group, requesting the
rescission of Permit No. WQ0010509. With the availability of connection to a public sewer, we
understand that the subject recycle system is no longer a fiscally feasible option, and will not be
constructed. Accordingly, Permit No. WQ0010509 is hereby rescinded, effective immediately.
Please be advised that no vehicle washing activities may be undertaken until proper disposal of the
wash water is ensured. Accordingly, please notify the Mooresville Regional Office, telephone number
[phone], when the washing facility is properly connected to the sanitary sewer, so that an in -place
inspection can be conducted.
If, in the future, you determine that another Non -Discharge permit is necessary, you must apply
for and receive a new Non -Discharge permit from the Division. Construction and/or operation of a
wastewater collection or treatment system without a valid Non -Discharge permit may subject the violator to
a civil penalty of up to $10,000 per day.
