Dear Mr. Haynes:

I DEF=1
Subject: Rescission of State erm t No. WQ0010355
Hickory, City-N.E. WWTP/Spray
Catawba County
Reference is made toward the rescission of the subject State Permit. Staff of our
Mooresville Regional Office have confirmed that this facility was never constructed and
that this uondischarge permit is no longer required. Therefore, in accordance with your
request, State Permit No. WQ0010355 is rescinded, effective immediately.
If in the future you wish to operate a spray irrigation facility under another nondischarge
permit, you must first apply for and receive a new State Permit. Operating without a valid State
Permit will subject the facility to a civil penalty of up to $10,000 per day.
If it would be helpful to discuss this matter further, I would suggest that you contact
Rex Gleason, Water Quality Regional Supervisor, Mooresville Regional Office at
704/663-1699.
Sincerely,
A
