Subject: Rescission of State Permit No. WQ0007683
Mountain View Motel-Rabek-Booz
Yancey County
Reference is made toward rescission of the subject Permit. Staff of our Asheville
Regional Office have confirmed that this Pump & Haul Permit is no longer required. State
Permit No. WQ0007683 is rescinded, effective immediately.
You were sent a Notice of Violation Letter on June 26, 1995, concerning non-payment
of your $450.00 - 1995 Annual Administering and Compliance Monitoring fee. Annual
Administering and Compliance Monitoring fees are due from any facility which is involved in:
operation at any time during the billing period. Because you were involved in Pump & Haul
activities up until the issuance of your new NPDES Permit on March 3, 1995, the fees are
due and collectable for 1995. If payment is not received by DEM within 30 days, the
collection of the fee will be referred to the Attorney General's Office.
If in the future you wish to again operate a Pump & Haul type of nondischarge
wastewater treatment system, you must fust apply for and receive a new State Permit.
Operating without a valid State Permit will subject the facility to a civil penalty of up to
$10,000 per day.
