Dear Mr. Berger:
Reference is made toward the rescission of the subject State Permit. Staff of the
Fayetteville Regional Office - Groundwater Section have confirmed that the subject non
discharge permit is no longer required. Therefore, State Permit No. WQ0006142 is
rescinded, effective immediately.
If in the future you need to operate a non discharge wastewater facility, you must first
apply for and receive a new State Permit. Operating without a valid State Permit will subject
the facility to a civil penalty of up to $10,000 per day.
If it would be helpful to discuss this matter further, I would suggest that you contact Jim
Bales, Groundwater Regional Supervisor, Fayetteville Regional Office at 910/486-1541.
